2020 in Review
As we look back on 2020, it has certainly been a challenging year! What was to be a year of celebration for 25 years as a ministry soon included numerous Covid-19 related shutdowns and quarantines and losses. But we have also experienced the goodness of God and the blessing of community in the midst of it. We are grateful for the many supporters, friends, and our Heartland family who rallied together to seek God’s face and care for one another, and we celebrate a spiritual harvest this year which includes 24 graduates from the Recovery programs, 17 graduates from the Bible College, 6 HCA graduates, and 15 water baptisms. As you watch our year-in-review video, let’s praise God together for His work in so many lives.
A Virtual Christmas Eve – Online Service Dec. 24th
Join us, and invite your friends and family…
I consider our annual Christmas Eve service to be a highlight of my Christmas season. And although our gathering this year will be online only, it is providing us with some unique opportunities to have many of you join us in creating a wonderful service not only for our local church family, but our friends around the world.
- The worship team is preparing music and the final Advent reading.
- I’ll be reading the Christmas story from the Bible.
- We’ll share the video Christmas greetings you have submitted.
- …and we’ve bought candles for everyone who would like to enjoy a candlelight service from home. (Those can be picked up at Church on Sunday morning, or at the Admin Building Dec. 21st thru 24th.)
God came in the flesh. God came to bring salvation to lost humans. And He is still working on us to bring us into a relationship with Him.This Christmas Eve, join us as we celebrate “together” online starting at 6:00pm. Invite family and friends to watch along—it’s a great time when hearts are often softened to the message of the Gospel. Our virtual service will be available on the usual channels:

Church Services for December
We are planning to have online prayer this Friday night, December 4th. Join in as Julian Vera leads us in prayer starting at 6:30pm.
In-person meetings for our Sunday morning worship will resume this week, December 6th, at 10:00am. Pastor Kris will begin a three-part sermon series on “The Child.” We encourage everyone to wear a mask and maintain 6′ distance as much as possible. Children’s church will be available in the gym for ages K-5th grade.
