HCChurch elementary students had a blast at this year’s VBS exploring what it means to “Live It Out”. The theme is from John 13:34 where Jesus said, “I give you a new command. Love one another. You must love one another, just as I have loved you. If you love one another, everyone will know you are my disciples.”
The Church foyer and classrooms were transformed into a giant campground with the addition of tents, sleeping bags, canoes, and more. Through videos, games, activities and conversations, topics such as learning to put other people first, God‘s love and forgiveness toward us and how that helps us forgive one another, and coming up with ideas about how we could serve one another.
