Psalty Concert May 13th
Join the Heartland Christian Academy students on Wednesday, May 13th, 7:00pm in the HCA Auditorium for a Psalty concert. Psalty will be joined by the Church Mouse Choir, Charity Church Mouse, and Risky the Rat in a musical entitled “Make Me A Servant.” Risky tries to trick Charity Church Mouse into being a star and not following God’s leading. Come and see what Charity discovers.

In the Scriptures, Psalm 107 is a perfect picture of the church at Heartland. The psalmist describes people in all kinds of desperate situations. They cried out to the Lord, and He saved them. Not only did He save them, but He guided them to a safe haven—to a city where they could live and raise their families.
That city is not just Heartland, of course. It is the Church of the Living God—the true City of Refuge. Those who make Heartland their home have found a refuge from many kinds of needs in their lives.
The psalmist describes us in several categories: Those who wandered in the wilderness, hungry and thirsty, with fainting souls. Those who dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death. Prisoners in misery and chains because of our rebellion. Those who were fools in their rebellious ways, abhorring even food to eat. Those who went down to the sea in great ships to do business and were caught in terrifying storms.
We all fit somewhere in those descriptions. And we all have this in common—when we called out to God in our distress, He rescued us. It is good to reflect on Psalm 107 and find hope in its words. When we see again what God has done for us, the psalmist tells us what our response should be… Give thanks to the Lord for His loving kindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men!

Missions Trip Report: Egypt 2015
It is a privilege to work with pastors and churches all around the world. Most recently, a team from Heartland Community Church traveled to Egypt where we took part in four conferences and other services in various parts of the country (almost 30 meetings in all). Here is a video overview of that trip.

Heartland Missions Conference 2015
MARCH 1-4, 2015

Each year, Heartland Community Church hosts a missions conference and welcomes pastors, missionaries, and friends from around the world. As our guests come from across the U.S., Brazil, the Philippines, Haiti, Tanzania, Egypt, Moldova, Mexico, Israel, and other nations, they share about what is happening in their lives and ministries. Meetings are held at the Heartland Christian Academy, 101 Nations Boulevard.
Our theme this year is “One Family” from Ephesians 3:14-21, “For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
As we gather together as the Family of God, we will enjoy special music, guest speakers, and the joy of worshiping with brothers and sisters from around the world. You are welcome to join us during these sessions as we worship our Father. Sunday, March 1st 9:30am and 6pm; Monday thru Wednesday 6:30pm.
