Missions Memorial 2019

Posted by on Mar 7, 2019 in News & Events | 0 comments

Over the last few years, we have lost some great leaders and men of God—Pastor Jaime Roman, Pastor John Rieder, Pastor Michael Jha, and Pastor Charles Sharpe. It seemed a fitting time to honor their memory during our annual missions conference, and be encouraged by their exhortations captured on video.

We find comfort in knowing that we will see them again, and we are reminded to press on, and fulfill our own callings.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7

KINGDOM COME: Matthew 6…
Therefore, you should pray like this:
Our Father in heaven,
Your name be honored as holy.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not bring us into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen.

Penny Wars kick off February 1st! It’s an exciting time here at HCA as kids raise money for missions. Each class decorates an offering jar, and then the war begins. Pennies count positively; silver coins such as quarters, nickels, and dimes, along with dollar bills, are called bombs and count as negative points.

Friends and family outside of HCA are welcome to participate and designate money to specific classes. Use the e-giving link to make an online donation by selecting the “penny war donation” category. (To designate, put the class or student name you wanted it applied to in the memo of the transaction.)
