So many people have come through our Church and ministry in the last 24 years, and one way that helps us stay connected is through the weekly live stream of our church services. There’s more than one place to watch, so choose one from the following list and join us for church soon!

To view the live stream through the web on your computer, smartphone, or tablet all you need to do is click Live Services in the menu on this website. Let your friends and family know they can watch at live.hland.tv. Live video is powered by YouTube and features 1080p HD and the ability to pause or rewind live video.

Follow our YouTube channel to watch live and catch past services. You can also search for “hlandtv” on the YouTube app on your smartphone, smart TV, game console, or streaming box. Don’t forget to Subscribe to our channel so you can find us more easily in the future. Click the bell icon to be notified about every video.

New Church Building Opening 2019

Here at Heartland Community Church (Bethel, MO) we are excited, during this week of our 24th anniversary as a congregation, to be in our new facility. The addition includes a large foyer, sanctuary, adult classrooms, and offices, and is built onto Heartland Christian Academy which is used for school classrooms during the week, and our youth and children’s services during church.

If you live in this region and don’t yet have a church home, please come visit us; we’d be glad to welcome you for church and show you around!

Salute To Freedom Recap 2019

Our thanks to the many friends and neighbors who joined us here at Heartland for the 2019 Salute to Freedom on July 5th. It was a beautiful night to gather for food, entertainment, and fireworks.

A special THANK YOU to all of our Heartland family who volunteered for setup, cooking, serving, cleanup and so many other things.

Dollar Days This Week!

Normal hours are: Wednesday from 10am-2pm, Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday 10am-2pm. Located across from Heartland Christian Academy. Donations are welcome, and may now be dropped off inside the building. Donations are accepted Monday through Wednesday from 10am to 3pm, and during our regular store hours. Enroll in a Bible College Class

Even if you aren’t pursuing a degree, Bible College classes are a great way to grow in your faith. Many people start with a Monday night class, and our fall course list offers something for those who may just be starting out in their walk (Disciplines of Life) and for believers who are wanting to go deeper in their understanding of Scripture (Bible Research). HCC has a broad range of students, from those just out of high school to moms, dads, and even grandpas. Visit our website for an overview, or contact us for details!

Registration is open for Block 1 of the Fall semester at Heartland Christian College (Block 1 runs from August 19 thru October 8, 2019).

The following courses will be offered:

  • Monday/Wednesday 8:10-10:50am – Old Testament Studies I and Bible Doctrines
  • Tuesday/Thursday 8:10-10:50am – College Composition and History I
  • Friday 9:00am – Servanthood I & III
  • Monday Night (full semester course thru December 13th) 6-9:00pm – Disciplines of Life and Bible Research

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

Old Testament Studies: A survey of the Old Testament emphasizing historic and thematic connections as well as the message of each book. The books are viewed both individually and collectively. Topes that will be covered are the Pentateuch (Law), Historical Books (Prophets), and the Writings. Geographical material will also be added to provide support for the historical context of each book.

Bible Doctrines: This course includes an overview of the concept and application of Bible Doctrines as a discipline. Also included is a survey of biblical teaching regarding the core doctrines of the conservative evangelical Christian Faith.

College Composition: An introductory study in critical reading and writing. Emphasis is placed on rhetoric and on the writing process of planning, drafting, and revising.

World History I: This course presents a broad survey of the interrelationship between world history and the history of the Western Church from the time of the early church to the pre-reformation. The focus is on the major changes and movements within both the church and world history, emphasizing their relevance and impact on today.

Disciplines of Life: An overview of the most recognized disciplines of the Christian life, including prayer and Bible study. Special emphasis is placed on practicing the virtues demonstrated by Jesus.

Bible Research: The use of research tools and methods along with insights and means of proper biblical interpretation are discussed.
