Twenty-Five Years of Hope
This year, the Heartland community is celebrating twenty-five years of seeing people find hope through Jesus. The vision started with businessman and founder Charles Sharpe. As he drove across his Missouri farmland one day, he thought, “This would be a good place for kids.”
He was right. Charlie was thinking of a summer camp, but the vision grew into a full community with recovery centers, schools, and businesses all built around a local church. We call ourselves an intentional community because our intention is to introduce men, women, and children to the only hope that lasts – a life devoted to God, through Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Please feel free to join this year of celebration in person or online. Hope often becomes contagious, and we pray that you will catch it. You are also welcome to become a part of sharing the hope with others through your prayers, your friendship, and your financial investment.

Mission House January Specials 2020
Lots of new surprises await at the Mission House so don’t forget to stop in for these weekly specials throughout the month of January! Normal hours are: Wednesday 10am-2pm,Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday 10am-2pm.

Christmas Eve Service
We will have a special Christmas Eve service here at Heartland Community Church on December 24th, from 6-7:00pm. It is always a very special time as we gather together as a church family to celebrate the birth of Jesus and God’s indescribable gift.
Dollar Days This Week!
Normal hours are: Wednesday from 10am-2pm, Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday 10am-2pm. Located across from Heartland Christian Academy. Donations are welcome, and may now be dropped off inside the building. Donations are accepted Monday through Wednesday from 10am to 3pm, and during our regular store hours. Heartland Christmas Tree Lighting
Wednesday, November 27th, join us on the Church lawn as we celebrate a new tradition… the lighting of the Heartland Christmas tree and community lights. Bundle up, bring the whole family, enjoy a cup of free cocoa provided by the Solid Rock Cafe, and join us in making the season bright. We’re inviting the neighbors too, and the Mission House, Cafe, and C-Store will all have specials running that day. If you’re on Facebook, follow the event and invite a neighbor!
