Thankful for Recovery

The greatest thing we have to be thankful for in any season is new life from God. The Message says it this way in 2 Corinthians 5: “The old life is gone; a new life emerges! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other.”

Thanksgiving is a natural time of gathering around the table to celebrate the blessings of God. Who are you inviting to your table this year?

Here at Heartland, we’re making room for those who need to hear the good news of reconciliation: “We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you. How? you ask. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God.” 2 Cor. 5:20-21

Join us in sharing that good news with all who will listen!
