Better Together: Marriage and Recovery
Addiction is often experienced by just one person in a marriage, but sometimes both partners struggle with substance abuse. That was the case for JC and Sara. Enrolling in the Heartland Recovery Programs was the first step for their individual recovery and their journey as a couple.

Walking Through Recovery -Ethan’s Story

We’ve done so many hard and uncomfortable things in pursuit of our addictions; how much more can we pursue and go through hard things to get out of that addiction?”
Ukraine Food Drive
A friend of the church, Ivan Pilat from Indianola, is running a food drive that he will then ship by container overseas. We’d like to join forces to help these families in need. During the remainder of the month of APRIL we will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items, such as tuna, mac-n-cheese, peanut butter, flour, etc. Bring your donations to the morning service on April 24th where we’ll each put our little bit together and see how God will use us to make a BIG impact.
If you have donations you’d like to give before April 24th you may drop those off at New Creation Country Store during regular business hours.
HCC Graduation 2022
Congrats Class of 2022! Heartland Christian College will hold its graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 7th, 2:00pm at Heartland Community Church. The ceremony will also be live-streamed on Facebook and our YouTube channel.
Resurrection Sunday
Worship with us Sunday, April 17, as we celebrate Resurrection Sunday. Our corporate service begins at 9:00am (we will not have the Sunday school hour classes that day or GPS Voyagers).
