We are so excited for our upcoming ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for the new church building, and hope you will join us at 6434 Shelby 150, Bethel, MO (just off Rt. E between Newark and Bethel, MO.) The event will begin at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 6th and continue until 5:00pm with special guests, refreshments, and tours of the new building.

This summer marks the 24th anniversary of the church, which was started by pastor Charles and Laurie Sharpe in 1995. Dr. Kris Palmer stepped into the lead role following Pastor Charlie’s death in 2017. The congregation has been meeting in the auditorium of the Heartland Christian Academy building for many years. Last summer, we broke ground for the new building during a ceremony that included a giant back-hoe, along with individual shovels for the children and many shovels from local homes.

Brown Construction from Nebraska has been the general contractor for the new building. Several local companies have won bids and played a part in the final product.

Pastor Kris and Martha Palmer encourage all friends and neighbors to attend this event and get a first-look at the new building. They hope the building will become a gathering spot for anyone in the area who does not have a church home. Guests and visitors are always welcome to drop in.
