Recent events in the nation of Egypt are alarming, especially for Christians in that nation. The struggle for power by the Muslim Brotherhood has led to what some call “ethnic cleansing” as churches, schools, businesses and homes of Christians are being targeted for looting and burning. Heartland Community Church has been building relationships in that nation for many years, and our friends have been greatly affected by the violence.
